In 1993, Dru Down released his very first album, Fools From The Streets.

The project quickly earned him a strong reputation on the Oakland rap scene and drew the attention of major record labels at the time.
 
In 1994, Dru Down signed with Relativity Records, which decided to reissue his debut album with a few key adjustments. The label chose to remove certain songs, add new ones, and keep the original visuals, while reworking them into a more professional style.
 
The result was Explicit Game an album that kept around 80% of Fools From The Streets while adding exclusive new material.

This updated version achieved much greater success, establishing Dru Down as one of the key figures of the Bay Area rap scene.
 
Today, HCR pays tribute to this West Coast classic with an exclusive reissue that brings together all the tracks from both the 1993 and 1994 editions.
